Review: The Chocolate Garden

The Chocolate Garden
The Chocolate Garden by Ava Miles

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Such a powerful story. It was amazing to see Tammy grow and blossom just like her gardens. This story made me laugh out loud, and cry uncontrollably. The children were amazing in dealing with the different situations and I loved the interaction John Parker had with them. I really enjoyed the lessons learned from each of their family members and they really made the story come to life. I also loved how food and especially chocolate played a role in the storyline. I would love the have a chocolate garden myself!! I can't wait to read Ava's next book in this series!!

Review: Dog Collar Crime

Dog Collar Crime
Dog Collar Crime by Adrienne Giordano

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I've read (listened to) by Adrienne Giordano and I am hooked. This was such a fun book - every time I laughed my husband would say "You're listening to that dog book again, aren't you?" I could not guess who was responsible for the different incidents that kept happening and there was just enough suspense to keep you guessing. I loved how the dogs personalities came through in the descriptions of each of them and really liked Lucie!! I can't wait to read more by this author!!

Tahoe Blues by Aubree Lane

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is fantastic!! I love suspense and this book provides just that with romance to boot. I felt like I was part of the story, and once I was hooked (which happened at the very beginning) I couldn't put it down. I really felt like I knew each of the characters and the story keeps your attention to the very end. This is a must read. I can't wait to read more by Aubree!!

Review: Uninhibited

Uninhibited
Uninhibited by Melody Grace

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I have read by Melody Grace and I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. WOW - I was hooked from the very beginning!! The electricity between Alicia and Dex was amazing, I loved how they felt about each each other and the detail in describing each of the characters thoughts and actions was so good you feel like you are a fly on the wall. You can really relate to their circumstances and it really makes you realize that sometimes you have to live outside your comfort zone. This book really had my heart racing from the very start and I didn't want to put it down. I HAVE to get the rest of her books!!

Review: The Marriage Agenda

The Marriage Agenda
The Marriage Agenda by Sarah Ballance

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book provoked so many emotions I don't know where to start. I wasn't sure what I would think about a book about politicians, but it was fantastic. I kept yelling at both Chloe and Knox throughout the book hoping each would wake up see what I could see about each of them. I felt that this book truly portrayed what could happen in a politician's life, even if books are supposed to be fantasy. I wished I was Chloe throughout the story, although I don't know if I could have handled all she went through.

Review: Love is...

Love is...
Love is... by Kate Pearce

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First off, the layout of this book is so unique. I loved that there is a heat level rating and that each of the stories tell you what type of story it is and what the heat rating is. I loved how the stories made me feel. They may be short, but they were powerful. I found that as I finished each one I went to sign-up for the authors newsletter and liked their Facebook page (that information is found at the end of each story - really great so you don't have to leave the book to find more information) so I could read more by each of them. I am sure most everyone will enjoy this book collection.

Review: Turn Up the Heat

Turn Up the Heat
Turn Up the Heat by Kimberly Kincaid

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was such a powerful story. I loved how the story unfolded and how it felt like I was there experiencing the same feelings. I felt the way the story was written gave each character such depth. My heart raced with some scenes, I cried at others, I yelled at them (Yeah I know, they can't hear me) and the last 25% of the book really took me by surprise. I really look forward to reading more by Kimberly Kincaid.

Review: It's Raining Men: A Romantic Comedy

It's Raining Men: A Romantic Comedy
It's Raining Men: A Romantic Comedy by Beate Boeker

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was such a fun book. What an interesting premise, do you believe in magically powers? I do now. It was such fun to learn about each of the cousins and how they handled their grandmother's request/rules. I loved the different locations each part was placed in and the descriptions of all the different characters. I can't wait to read more by these authors!!

Review: Four Weeks Till Forever

Four Weeks Till Forever
Four Weeks Till Forever by Nadia Lee

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This story is amazing. It felt so real and I really liked how the story unraveled. There are characters you will hate and there are others you will love. Friendships are true and honest. Does Hilary learn to trust men? Does Mark want to stay a playboy? You'll have to read it to find out!! I couldn't put the book down and I can't wait to read more by Nadia!!

I received an ARC copy from the author for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.

Review: The Girl with the Cat Tattoo

The Girl with the Cat Tattoo
The Girl with the Cat Tattoo by Theresa Weir

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book had me laughing from the very start. I can really hear my cat saying/thinking the same things as Max. I absolutely loved how Max told his story and how he did his matchmaking. I could really relate to all the characters in this book. It is very well written and I enjoyed the romance in addition to the mystery. You don't have to love animals to love this book. I look forward to reading more by this author!! A side note - the book set I have has this pic as the cover, I have seen a different cover for this book and it doesn't give it justice. So the saying goes: Don't judge a book by it's cover!!

Review: The Mutt and the Matchmaker

The Mutt and the Matchmaker
The Mutt and the Matchmaker by J.B. Lynn

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book. I found it very engaging and funny. I loved how the matchmaker really hit it on the head when she paired up these two. The emotions and interactions between all the characters were so well written they felt real to me, like I was Jane. I also really enjoyed how the dogs reacted to each of the characters and the roles they played. I would highly recommend this book to everyone and will definitely be reading more by J.B. Lynn!!

Review: The Park of Sunset Dreams

The Park of Sunset Dreams
The Park of Sunset Dreams by Ava Miles

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is an awesome small town romance. I absolutely loved this book. Ava Miles made me feel like I was part of the story, from the descriptions of the scenery to the interaction between all the characters. I laughed and I cried. I loved the way the family members interacted and especially liked how the dogs played a roll in the story and helped describe the characters personality. This book is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. I don't feel I missed anything by not reading the other ones, but I definitely will now.

Review: Driven to Date

Driven to Date
Driven to Date by Susan Hatler

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is awesome. It is very well written and I could really relate to all the emotions that Jill went through. It made my heart race when Ryan did things for her. I seem to not be alone in the fact that this was my first Susan Hatler book and I read it as part of the Lucky 7 Bad Boys Contemporary Romance Boxed Set. I hope to be able to get the rest of Susan's books, as I am sure they will all be as great as this one was.

This book was very interesting. There were so many twists and turns and both my husband and I thought we knew who did it and the twist at the end was awesome. I recommend this book to anyone who loves mysteries. The story line was fun to follow as well.

Palmolive® Soft Touch™ Coconut Butter Dish Soap Review

I was given a bottle of Palmolive® Soft Touch™ Coconut Butter Dish Soap for free to review by Influenster. #PalmoliveSoftTouch

I was very surprised on how clean my dishes were after using this product.  Even when the water got cold it still cleaned them and there was no grease residue.

The water felt very silkly and my hands felt softer after doing all my dishes.

I especially liked the way it smelled and made doing the dishes all that more enjoyable.

I did a video of my unboxing and first impressions also:

iPhone 5

I got my iPhone on November 2, 2012. I went in for a black 32gb one and walked out with a white 64gb one. I am so happy with the color and the size. I already have 32.8gb used. I absolutely love it. The camera takes much better pictures than the iPhone 4 did (my previous phone). I love all the upgrades that 6.0 brought and really appreciate the faster processor.

Below is a picture of my phone in an Otterbox case, you can see why I love the color of the phone as well because of the contrast.

I have dropped my phone twice on a tile floor and since the Otterbox case protects it so well nothing happened to it.

I have navigation apps, a ton of games, and apps to watch movies and they all work great. No lag time and accurate info.
